海角社区- A Center of African American History and Culture

During 海角社区鈥檚 observance of Black History Month for the year 2026, the National Center will present a program examining 海角社区 as prominent in the evolving Black History Movement of the 1920s to the 1960s. During this period, the institution established African American and African-American-related courses as part of the school鈥檚 curriculum. Also during this era, 海角社区 sponsored events on campus and in the local and wider state African-American community related to African-American history and culture. Additionally, during this period, 海角社区鈥檚 student and other newspaper publications printed editorials and regular newspaper columns highlighting significant African American events, issues and persons important to 海角社区鈥檚 faculty and student population.
